Ho Technical University (HTU), located in the heart of Ghana’s Volta Region, is a leading public technical university dedicated to delivering career-focused, hands-on education. Established in 1968 as a technical institute and upgraded to a polytechnic in 1986, HTU gained full tertiary status in 1993 and has since evolved into a center of excellence in applied sciences, technology, and innovation. HTU offers programmes at multiple levels—Non-Tertiary, Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), and Master of Technology (MTech))—with many advanced programmes run in collaboration with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
