Hoot is a small family business based out of Wellington that grew out of a love for smoking food. Our ethos is to encourage creativity by simplifying cooking to make adding flavour to every meal simple, regardless of culinary skills. Hoot sauce is a smoked Chilli paste/sauce that used a key New Zealand ingredient to create distinctly original flavours. Our product covers a multitude of uses in the kitchen, working effortlessly from morning to night to elevate flavours in your every meal. Using a base of sun-dried tomatoes, chillies, red peppers we build flavour complexity by smoking ingredients using our secret recipe to develop unforgettably, addictive, umami tasting notes.
