HR for You provides coaching services for executives and emerging leaders to assist them in developing their leadership skills and making challenging decisions. We also provide change management coaching for individuals who are in periods of transition in their life - whether it be starting a new job, changing jobs or careers, going back to school, or retiring. As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), we closely follow their definition of coaching. ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. We all have goals that we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome, and times when we feel stuck. Partnering with a coach can change your life, setting you on a path to greater personal and professional fulfillment. Mentoring and coaching executives and emerging leaders through transitions and tough decisions takes insight, patience, and persistence. It is very much about respect, respect for the individual, their thoughts, opinions, and decisions, but it is also about respect and understanding for their situation, and what they’re going through. From experience, planning for the next step or chapter in your life, even though exciting and challenging, can also be frightening - but there is also something very creative and interesting about embracing the unknown.
