Why HYPATIA Because of the tools that form awareness in our societies are controlled by power or special categories, which make that tools direct the general awareness of societies to support certain patterns of thinking. That create mono-direction society difficult to accept diversity and different patterns of thinking, suppress uniqueness of individuals and make them disable to know the real causes of their problems. Because that tools which form their awareness tell them what is their problems and also how to solve it, to make them blinds to their real problems which if they saw it, they may can solve it. So we found that we have to participate whit others whom started to build and publish other tools help the individual to form his own awareness, and help him to use it and participate in making it, and also help him to innovate other tools that highlights uniqueness and diversity of individuals,and aims to break down monopolism of usage of that tools for only who have knowledge about the tools, to make tools are available for everyone. ِAnd because the need is necessary to place involves a group of different participants in public work, activists, bloggers, technicals and artistes who are believe in the idea of volunteering work, participation and team work, and also believe in freedom of expression, and usage of open source and social media tools, So it is necessary to be a place for us, to support this principles to come out and convert it to effective behavior.
