The association is chartered under this name and it is the full legal name. core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. Birzeit branch was created in 2010 within the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department aiming at helping students to foster their knowledge in technological development in the field of electricity and energy. This branch has more than 80 members who enjoys the international membership benefits and privileges. The branch looks into assisting students through workshops, lectures, direct exposure to knowledge, peer to peer discussion, all directed by professionals. This is in addition to entertainment and other soft activities.
