Iku-Spectra

IKU-SPECTRA, established at Istanbul Kültür University, is a center of excellence in molecular sciences and spectroscopy. Research focuses on environmental, atmospheric, space, and materials sciences, with emphasis on pharmaceutically relevant materials. Using advanced spectroscopic and computational methods, we study atmospheric molecules and crystal polymorphism, key to the pharmaceutical industry. The center hosts Türkiye’s first matrix isolation spectroscopy facility, alongside Raman imaging and X-ray diffraction labs. Offering high-quality services to academia and industry, IKU-SPECTRA enhances Türkiye’s role as a hub for knowledge-based services and technology transfer.
