Improve Liberia Foundation

Improve Liberia Foundation is a non-profit NGO founded in 2017 and fully accredited in 2020. It engenders to advance the standard of education in Liberia and provides better livelihood for people with disabilities. The Foundation poses distinct attention to quality education, respect for the fundamental human rights of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and gender equality, democracy, and helps to unleash positive social and economic change as they remain critical principles backing the enjoyment of developmental programs in the country. The Foundation also recognizes the need to work with duty bearers (the state) and right holders (the citizenry) to ensure development programs are demand-driven, transparent, timely, sustainable and locally owned. We work closely with Liberian organizations including community-based organizations, and collaborate with other NGOs including international non-governmental organizations to ensure that our programs meet the needs of the poorest and most marginalize.
