The vision of PPI Madiun as referred to in Article 37 is to become a center of excellence and innovation in education and vocational training in the technical field of global technology-based railways by 2030 The mission of PPI Madiun as referred to in Article 37 are: a. realizing superior, transparent and accountable higher education and training institutions b. organize and develop competency-based vocational education and training and the development of railway technology as well as integrate excellent, professional and ethical personality learning c. developing science and technology through applied research in the technical field of railways and being globally competitive d. carry out community service through the application of appropriate technology to improve the safety of rail transportation operations e. establish cooperation with various institutions both inside and outside the railway sub-sector in the context of human resource development The purpose of PPI Madiun as referred to in Article 37 is to produce graduates who have knowledge, understanding, and skills in the railway sector as well as having high professional integrity and noble character.
