Inecsys is an innovative resource management company seeking to commercialise an environmentally friendly waste tyre processing solution based on pyrolysis technology. The company is looking to set up a tonnes per year waste tyre treatment facility in North Yorkshire, England. The facility will safely and environmentally friendly process waste tyres and produce a number of renewable and CO2-negative products, including pyrolysis oil and renewable carbon black. This potentially first of its kind facility in the United Kingdom would enhance industrial resource recovery capability and create 25 full-time jobs in the North of England. The project will help bring technological expertise in the country and create a centre of technological excellence with a profound export potential. The project has been named among five finalists in the Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards 2015 (Postgraduate Category) among winning teams from 78 universities across the UK. We have been named the winner in the Oxford Brookes Business Plan Competition 2015 in the Postgraduate Category.
