Founded in 1989 by Dr. Alberto Varela, Psychiatrist, Psychoanalyst and Entrepreneur, we were the first mental health company in Puerto Rico, privately held. Since then, and thanks to the generous support of friends and countless organizations, we have experienced tremendous growth and have had the enormous privilege of continuing to serve the people of Puerto Rico. Categorized as one of the main Mental Health centers in the country, we were pioneers in the introduction of multiple innovative programs for mental health. Likewise, we were the first independent mental health institution in Puerto Rico accredited by The Joint Commission. Throughout the years, we have had the incredible opportunity to have participated in the emotional recovery of hundreds of thousands of patients who have honored us by placing their trust in our team of experts and services. Collaborating hand in hand with our patients, we have been able to improve their quality of life and help them achieve an optimal state of well-being and mental health. For us, there is no greater satisfaction than this.
