Into Work Advice Service

The Into Work Advice Service is part of Cardiff Council. We provide help to Cardiff residents who are looking to return to work or upskill in their employment. The Into Work Advice Service helps clients become more job ready, preparing them to return to work, preparing them for Universal Credit by managing their money and making online applications for benefits. Prime examples of help offered are- CV writing - Job application forms and covering letters - Job searches - Access to computer facilities - Support in applying for Universal Credit - Access to work skills training, such as Manual Handling, Food Safety, First Aid - Interview techniques - Work placement and volunteering opportunities - Confidence building - Access to funding for training*- Access to financial support to remove barriers to work (i.e. travel expenses, interview clothing, childcare costs)* Please note this is subject to eligibility criteria
