Ironbark
IronBark’s latest venture is Going Bush, a festival of quality short plays at The Bush Theatre. In collaboration with the inaugural Australia and New Zealand Festival of Literature and Arts in London, this event will be a new and exciting platform for Australian and New Zealand writers. Past productions include; Brendan Cowell’s Ruben Guthrie (New Wimbledon Studio), the Theatre Ashes (Latitude Festival), Vivienne Walshes’s This Is Where We Live (Freshworks at the Young Vic) and our sell-out roaming play reading series, PubPlays. Formed in 2010, IronBark’s first London production, the world premiere of celebrated Australian playwright Ben Ellis’ new play The Captive, opened to critical acclaim in a sold out run at the Finborough Theatre in November of that year. IronBark is the collaboration of Zöé Caldwell, Tim Knightley and Nicola Samer, together with their associates and friends to produce and promote Australian Theatre in the UK using the talents of local cast and creative teams.
