Jangal Services is a registered start-up tutoring business focusing on various grade levels: K-12, College, Graduate School and Adult Learning. The word "Jangal" comes from the Wollof language spoken predominantly in Senegambia (Senegal and The Gambia), West Africa. It is a verb that can mean two things depending on the context used:"To Learn, Study, Read" or "To Teach, Educate, Facilitate". At Jangal Services, we tutor and mentor students individually or in small groups (face-to-face and online). We specialize in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), English Language Arts (ELA), Test Prep Exams (TOEFL, PSAT, SAT, ACT, TSI, ASVAB, GED, GRE, NCLEX, GMAT, etc.), Business, and more. Customized learning plans for each student include the following- an initial diagnostic test for better placement - school homework assistance plus preparation for quizzes, tests, and exams - constant practice and lessons aligned with student’s school curriculum and periodic progress report - learning strategies to boost self-esteem, confidence, and grades and - mentor and cater to students with diverse learning and special needs (dyslexia, autism, ADHD, etc.).
