My name is Jason Lippitt, Founder of JML Coaching & Consulting Ltd, which provides leadership coaching and performance solutions with a focus on personal fitness and wellbeing. Some of you may know me from my time as Managing Director of TMAT (subsequently Blachford UK), the multi-award winning manufacturer of some of the world’s most advanced prosthetic technology, bespoke seating solutions and orthotic devices. I played an instrumental role in turning around a struggling business by- Increasing GM by 25%- Doubling turnover during a recession - Securing high risk investors and delivering attractive return - Building a strong Management Team - Securing a multi-million pound sale to Blachford Acoustics Group, and then successfully running Blachford UK as Managing Director, which included overcoming the obstacles thrown at us by COVID What's the Number 1 thing I've learnt during my career? It's that I have come to realise that happy people add more value and go the extra mile. What does this mean? Every business needs employees who add real value. We don't have time to waste on activities that aren't in line with our business goals. We don't want to waste time on conflict because we don't understand how someone else operates. If an employee is unhappy, I believe that, as employers, we have a responsibility to help them. Happy healthy people add value.
