Jason is a commercially focused Business Coach and Consultant with exceptional transformation and turnaround experience across multiple industry sectors. He has an MBA from Aston Business School, and has a strong operational background in manufacturing. His financial acumen and aptitude for sales and marketing make him a powerful addition to the board room. As an accomplished Managing Director, he has recently delivered 150% increase in revenues and 15% EBITDA, managing P&L and everything from quote-to-cash. He has led executive teams to deliver world class products and performance in a tough international B2B environment. Private Equity Investors and entrepreneurial high net worth people have relied on and benefitted from his expertise and experience in creating and delivering business plans and budgets, for companies ranging from £5M to £100M Turnover. Jason is also prepared to invest alongside PE partners and management teams and has had significant success leading share sales and exits which delivered 20xROI. He is capable of operational due diligence for investors and has led several turnarounds after acquiring distressed businesses out of administration. He is a previous winner of Derbyshire’s Business Personality of the Year, has also won an award for Business in the Community, and was a national finalist and runner up of for Make UK’s ‘Manufacturer of the Year Award’ for his pragmatic approach to Lean Manufacturing, running a business with minimal working capital, maximising efficiency, and ROCE. He is passionate about company culture and happiness and is currently writing a book on the ‘cost of misery’ in business. A keen triathlete, and an accomplished Ironman, proves that Jason’s tenacity and ‘never give in’ approach is something built into his DNA. In the little bit of spare time he has, he volunteers as a Mentor for the UK Government’s “Help to Grow” programme, a scheme which is intended to help small businesses. He is also a mentor at Aston Business School for MBA students. He encourages everyone to help everyone and has had great success mentoring and supporting management teams to understand their value and realise their objectives to deliver profitable results.
