Kainos Projects Africa

Kainos Projects Africa (Kainos) consists of a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians with a combined >100 years’ experience in a wide range of technologies in water and waste treatment. We have extensive experience in advanced process integration through the design and construction of municipal and industrial water treatment plants in Africa. The Greek “Kainos” literally translates as “newness”. It implies the following: “of a new kind; unprecedented, novel, uncommon, unheard of”. It points to “newness of character”. “Kainos” describes the way we choose to conduct business – not following conventional patterns but through “partnering” in the true sense of the word and living out our core values to realize a higher calling and purpose. We believe we have a distinctive skill-set and a unique calling and vision that will benefit our partners in meeting and fulfilling their water-related and resources needs. We make a difference in Africa through what we do and how we do it.
