Kangan LNG is an affiliate of Arian Mahtaab Gostar (AMG) group of companies. AMG is a leading private player in the Iranian power sector, generating around 5% of Iran’s total electricity through its 3.5 GW of installed capacity in 10 operational power plants. With several years of industry experience, both trading petroleum products and as one of the major private consumers of gas from NIGC with existing long term sales and purchase agreements in place, AMG Group is looking to enter the international gas markets by developing Iran’s first private LNG export project.
