Kenarhat

The journey of Kenarhat started by delivering the traditional unadulterated date molasses of Jashore across the country through online, and the journey was inaugurated in presence of the District Commissioner Md. Abdul Awal back in 2016. From the very beginning to encourage this unique initiative of spreading traditional food item, the district authority has permitted to use the logo for district branding. In the last two seasons; Kenarhat has sold more than kg of date molasses across the country. Kenarhat collect date molasses from 60 selected farmers (Gassi) in Bagherpara, Jashore by contract firming model. Directly, families of 60 farmers have been benefited by getting involved in production, and additionally 1500 people have also been able to scale up their socio-economic scenario. Apart from this, Kenarhat is playing an important role in bringing services to the doorsteps of the people in Jashore city provides home delivery of daily necessities including rice, pulses, edible oil, fresh vegetables, fish, meat, milk etc. in Jashore city. In 2019, Kenarhat has partnered with a2i EKSHOP operated under ICT Division of Govt. The goods of Kenarhat can now also reach the buyers through this government e-Commerce platform. Recently, Kenarhat has become a member of the e-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB). This business is placed at Software Technology Park Jashore, MT Building, Level-05, Jashore, Bangladesh.
