Kobi Walsh Studio

Kobi Walsh is a Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary visual artist currently working out of his studio at Mana Contemporary. Kobi's work investigates the relationship between light, space, and time in order to communicate the subjectivity of the present moment and the constancy of change. He captures intricate impressionistic fragments of light and time in order to parallel the fragile nature of our individual reality. Not relying on digital manipulation, Kobi’s work explores themes of authenticity and the transience of the present moment. He received a B.S. in Cognitive and Brain Sciences from Tufts University, incorporating an understanding of the neurological foundations of perception to play with our expectations of form and space. Kobi’s work has been exhibited internationally in New York, Italy, Miami, Chicago, and Boston. He has won 33 awards for his photography and has been published 16 times in international publications.
