Behind the craft You will find me, Britten Toftarp. Living and working, on the westcoast of Sweden, in the county of Halland nearby Falkenberg. My small studio is situated in the village of Morup, near by the sea. I call myself a wire work artist within the Swedish Grannlåtstradition (Grannlåt = frippery, trinkets). The CROWN is my object, and my aim is to explore and break with the traditional wirework. In object as well as in design language. The work often begins with a kind of “wire doodles”.
