The College of Professional Education, in collaboration with the Coles College of Business, has developed an award-winning approach for designing and delivering leadership development programs. The program we designed for the WellStar Health System, called the WellStar Leadership Academy, recently won the HR Excellence Award for Most Innovative Use of Technology. The award was sponsored by the Atlanta Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. This award recognized our College’s innovative approach to technology-enhanced learning. We specialize in designing hybrid programs that integrate the best practices in “GAME-fied” online learning with the best practices in classroom application. It’s called the PLAY—PRACTICE—PURPOSE approach to professional development. This innovative approach allows us to both improve and accelerate the teaching and learning process.
