La Poderosa Media Project

Mission: La Poderosa Media Project is a nonprofit organization that encourages youth empowerment, cultural empathy, and collaborative learning through visual arts programs in Latin America and the United States. Goals- To facilitate the self-representation, creative expression, and economic advancement of Latin American underprivileged youth through equal access to multimedia training and resources- To provide American college students with a high quality and affordable alternative to study, intern, and volunteer abroad- To bring together into productive dialogue two culturally and linguistically diverse groups through the creation of digital media.
