LAAC Architects is an Innsbruck-based office of architects, landscape designers and thinkers operating within the fields of architecture, landscape design, research and development. LAAC was formed by Kathrin Aste and Frank Ludin as an update of astearchitecture. LAAC develops contemporary architectural solutions for urban and landscape challenges. LAAC establishes core concepts and relevancies through which to explore affine programs. Context and function play a crucial role in our work. Using modern design methods, we systematically develop innovative, forward-looking buildings, constructions and structures. LAAC seeks sustainable architectural solutions for ecological problems, developing an architecture that both depends on and integrates with its environment. Design, form and material are informed and question context. Through the architectural practice and parallel activities, LAAC creates an interface between teaching, research and realization.
