Label Shimbun is a Japan-based trade newspaper specializing in the label printing industry, founded in 1969. We publish a broadsheet-format industry newspaper twice a month, on the 1st and 15th, providing continuous coverage of company developments, technologies, equipment investments, and market conditions. Since 2007, we have published the annual market reference book Japan Label Market, offering a structured overview of Japan’s label industry. In the field of industry events, we have organized professional conferences since 2006, starting with Label Summit Japan and later developing into Label Forum Japan. Held approximately every two years, the forum reaches its 20th edition with Label Forum Japan 2026, scheduled for October 2026. In addition, since we have continuously organized overseas study tours focused on major international exhibitions and global label markets, providing insights that connect Japan with the world. Label Shimbun’s mission is to walk alongside Japan’s label industry and to document and share its present and future.
