Lafiya

Lafiya is a global health non-profit that strengthens the social and healthcare infrastructure of rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa by meeting women's unmet need for contraception. Through a deeply community-based distribution network (our Lafiya Sisters), we reach women at the last-mile in areas underserved by the healthcare system. To date, we have provided more than women with life-saving contraception in the most rural and underserved parts of Nigeria Lafiya Nigeria is registered as an incorporated trustee in Nigeria, known as Samu Lafiya Initiative for Development (CAC registration number: 6960521), as charitable incorporated organisation (Charity Number: 1206952) in the United Kingdom, as a charity in the Netherlands (ANBI/RSIN number: 865927133), and fiscally sponsored by 501 (c)(3) organisation, Global Distribution Fund Inc.
