Lanterna Education

Lanterna is a leading online IB teaching and tutoring company. We collaborate with IB schools worldwide to deliver live, online substitute and full-time teachers and offer personalised tutoring for IB students. For IB Schools: Finding and retaining qualified IB teachers is one of the biggest challenges schools face, especially for hard-to-fill subjects or unexpected mid-year gaps. We work alongside IB Coordinators to provide experienced, Cat 2+ trained teachers who integrate directly into your school timetable and deliver live, online lessons. Whether you need short-term substitute cover or a full academic year teaching solution, our teachers bring an average of 10 years' IB classroom experience and are supported by our in-house IBDP Coordinator to ensure curriculum alignment and continuity for your students. We're proud to partner with over 250 IB World Schools worldwide. For IB Students: Our 600+ expert tutors and teachers help IB students reach their full potential – from personalised 1:1 tutoring and exam revision courses to study skills presentations delivered in schools worldwide. Founded as an IB CAS project in Stockholm in 2004, we've spent over 20 years building one of the largest networks of IB teaching expertise in the world. Today we work with schools and students across more than 80 countries, with a team based across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
