Launchrolesville

The Wake Forest Rotary Club, along with the Rolesville Chamber of Commerce, Wake Technical Community College/Wells Fargo Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Town of Rolesville created an Entrepreneurship program called “LaunchROLESVILLE.” This free program mirrors one in Wake Forest and Raleigh in which entrepreneurs are provided training, resources, and mentors to help them start or grow a business. The coalition provides nine weeks of classes (one evening per week). The curriculum has been developed by Wake Tech’s Entrepreneurship Initiative sponsored by Wells Fargo to provide a solid framework to support the entrepreneur as they start a business and begin a journey to success in business. At the end of the training, students are paired with experienced businesspeople who will act as mentors for another six months. Students will also have access to micro-loans and possibly additional investments. The program is aimed at entrepreneurs who have a great idea but don’t know where to start, as well as those who are already in business and need to learn how to get to the next level. At the end of the sessions, students will graduate with a draft of a business plan, a marketing plan, and a path to make success a reality. Small businesses are an economic driver in every community, we are pleased to have the support from the Wake Forest Rotary Club, the Rolesville Chamber of Commerce, Town of Rolesville, and Wake Technical Community College/Wells Fargo Center for Entrepreneurship.
