Lma Mineral Float

We are a boutique float spa located in Southampton, PA. We have two float tanks. You have access to light controls, as well as an option for music and an intercom system in the room. Floating was created in 1954 by Dr. John C. Lilly and was previously known as sensory deprivation or R.E.S.T.(Restricted Environmental Sensory Technique). We define float therapy as floating in anti-gravity float tank filled with pounds of Epsom Salt dissolved into 800 gallons of body temperature water, to help minimize external stimuli to enhance overall relaxation. Floating in magnesium rich water has many benefits, both mentally and physically. We offer many options to allow our clients to have total control of their float session and experience. Our float facility is reminiscent of a parlor in the Middle East. With specially selected items that are emblematic of the exotic sights, sounds & smells of the Middle East Dead Sea, close your eyes and envision a Roman spa, a Hammam, or a Greek bath. We are inspired by the curative and medicinal benefits of mineral water, but unlike the communal Greek and Roman spas, our brand is solitary. It’s the Lma moment! We believe in the importance of alone time and resetting your mind and body. Research has shown that people need alone time to function. That’s why our name is Lma – “Leave me alone”.
