Luxmun Asbl

The LUXMUN A.S.B.L. is the parent organisation of the LUXMUN Debating Society and LUXMUN Conference, organised by the students of the Athénée. LUXMUN aims to bring students together to discuss pressing current issues, such as international relations; ideas for improving education and initiatives for sustainability. We hold twice-weekly sessions complimented by guest speakers such as MEPs, Ambassadors, and other experts. Doubtlessly, the crowning jewel of our calendar is our Model United Nations conference. Every June we receive students from around the globe to participate as delegates, chairs and more in our simulated United Nations committees to develop solutions to the most pressing topics in international relations, which are then sent to the office of the UN Secretary-General. We strive for excellence in all facets of our conference, such as our guests (PM Xavier Bettel, Luc Frieden, etc.), venues (Athénée, ECCL, etc.) and of course our partners, including, hopefully, you. All these help us achieve our core aims: educating on global issues and forging connections between our young participants from all over the world.
