Mad Beatz Philly

Mad Beatz Philly provides college-preparatory training in performance and pedagogy to drummers ages 13 and older under the mentorship of compassionate professionals from their very own neighborhoods. Here are our core values: 1. The pursuit of individual excellence instills the value of initiative, dependability, adaptability, and a growth mindset, preparing our members for success in any workplace. The pursuit of collective excellence instills the value of self-awareness, emotion regulation, patience, and positive relationships, strengthening social/emotional skills and improving the quality of our participants' interpersonal relationships. A community of like-minded peers and mentors will greatly reduce our participants' likelihood of engaging in self-harming behaviors, such as drug/alcohol abuse, criminal activity, and other behaviors our participants witness every day in Philadelphia.
