Made By Mortals ‘Bring Lived Experience to Life’ through immersive audio stories, films, music, theatre and interactive workshops. To do this, we use participatory arts practice (the process of people making and taking part in the creation of art irrespective of ability or experience) and the principles of coproduction to bring people together from diverse communities across the UK. At the heart of everything we do are the extraordinary people who bravely share their stories. Regardless of their artistic or production experience, they team up with our world-class artists, university research teams, and health and social care professionals, to co-produce projects with purpose and passion. Thanks to their willingness to share their lived experiences and imaginations, our work is created using unique experiences and perspectives, delivering positive social impact, helping university researchers and health and care providers to better understand the people they serve, and connecting deeply with worldwide audiences. Made By Mortals also produce the award-winning podcast for kids,'Armchair Adventures.' Together, we aim to influence change in public services, educate future generations and make a real difference.
