Maindee Unlimited

We love Maindee and we want to see a brighter, cleaner, happy and resilient Maindee fit for today and the future. Maindee Unlimited re-opened Llyfrgell Maindee Library in 2015 and Maindee Triangle in 2022. We host the Maindee Food Pantry which saves a tonne of food from being wasted every month. We host Greening Maindee, a project which aims to transform neglected parts of the urban concrete jungle into clean, healthy parks and garden spaces. We host the Newport Circular Economy Network project which aims to create a network of zero-waste and climate action groups across the city, to drive the behaviour change necessary to meet the challenges of climate change. We are driving the community-led re-design of the Maindee District Centre.
