Manatee Holdings Ltd. helped pioneer the wild Geoduck Clam Fishery in British Columbia (BC), Canada. Manatee also spear headed the Geoduck Clam Culture Industry in BC. Our company harvests Geoduck clams and sea cucumbers from the wild fisheries with a 75% profit margin. It also owns its own shellfish hatchery and has substantial sub tidal aquaculture tenures. Our fishery licenses are worth in excess of $4 million. Our aquaculture holdings have a present value of about $20 million but could be expanded upon to well in excess of $100 million with the right financing. The market for Geoduck clams and sea cucumbers is expanding far beyond the industry’s ability to satisfy. This has created an opportunity for investment into the aquaculture of both species.
