Maow

Launched in 2012, Maow is an artistic platform where art and design coexist and confront taking shape as a limited edition book. Every year, the Maow book is showcasing 50 international artists – designers, illustrators, sculptors, painters, photographers, screen printers and more – carefully selected by a small jury based in Brussels. Thereafter, Maow will set up a temporary exhibition in Brussels in June 2019. The artistic space LaVallée will host the project as well as the artists of the book wishing to exhibit their works. From crafts to graphic art, illustration, painting or even tattooing, this event will be the opportunity to celebrate the release of the freshly printed book, and to share a good moment between artists, public and organisers. Summer vibes, live music, tasty food and beautiful meetings! Maow is a non-profit small organisation who promote artists by heart and love. The adventure and experience are fun and rewarding for both sides. A huge European visibility is giving to the artists. Our project is based on the idea of mutual aid « giving-taking »: the organisers help the artists, the artists help the organisers. Because art should be accessible to everyone -)
