In order to reduce global warming, we must remove over 1 billion tons of atmospheric CO2 annually. We are developing an ocean carbon dioxide removal (CDR) methodology; inducing the formation of a specific form of marine snow. We are also developing the necessary measurement, reporting and verification (MRV) technology to enable carbon removal sales. Our MRV technology and methodology will also help us better calculate the ocean and worlds carbon budgets, and assist in understanding and predicting the impacts global warming and climate change will have on our oceans. The controlled initiation of marine snow in the Southern Ocean could remove up to 20% of the world's annual CO2 emissions.
