Master In Computational Finance Mcf

Master in Computational Finance (MCF) is a one-year program taught in English and aimed at creating financial experts for the digital age. The program is organized by the School of Computing, Union University, a leading computer science school in South East Europe and directed by Prof Branko Urosevic, who previously created and led the IMQF program. MCF combines in-depth training in advanced financial modeling, applied programming in Python and R, machine learning and blockchain/fintech technology. By the end of the program, participants should develop confidence in approaching real life, open-ended problems. MCF is established in 2021 as an official Short Program approved by the National Council for Higher Education of the Republic of Serbia. We are planning to accredit it as an official Master program of the School of Computing in the near future. The first generation attracted 19 talented individuals with backgrounds in computer science, economics, math and natural sciences. Top financial institutions in Serbia provide support for promising applicants through Banca Intesa Stipend, Raiffeisen Banka Stipend, and UniCredit Bank Stipend, respectively. These grants cover full tuition. The MCF faculty have PhDs from the leading international universities and have significant practical experience. The Advisory Board consists of distinguished professionals working with prestigious financial institutions in the United States and Europe. This connects the program with the world's best practices and ensures its quality and practical relevance. Upon the completion of the Short program (and later the Master program), students that fulfill mild additional requirements will receive a Master of Computational Finance certificate from the prestigious Collegio Carlo Alberto (Torino, Italy). This certificate is broadly recognized among businesses in Italy and worldwide.
