Match Marry Mate

Joyice Robinson Myers is an educator, researcher, coach, and speaker. Her research centers on healing gender relations between Black women and men. Her work shows evidence that this healing often produces safer, happier, smarter, and more stable dating decisions that improve the quality of relationships. It’s now her mission to improve the quality of gender relationships in the Black community through relationship education. She moves toward mission through the Match Marry Mate™ Show podcast where she equips Black women and couples with the valuable education they need for healing and transforming how they view relationships. Her coaching and research work has resulted in six marriages and five current-day exclusive relationships, and a plethora of clients who are learning and practicing new relationship readiness skills or actively dating with satisfaction. Her upcoming projects include relationship education programs, workshops, and courses in colleges and universities, consulting with corporate and entertainment industries, and speaking worldwide about how relationship education can heal the Black American family. Joyice’s research interests include: Attraction, Dating, and Courtship; Emotions, Flirtation, and Intimacy; Relationship Repair Maintenance, and Types; Strategies, Trajectories, and Culture.
