Melksham Town Council

Melksham Town Council supports local people, enriches community life, protects heritage, and helps shape a vibrant future. We run facilities, organise events, and amplify community voices, all to keep Melksham a place people love to live, work, and visit. Melksham Town Council is made up of fifteen Councillors who represent the four Wards - North, Forest, South and East Melksham. The work of the Council is delivered by a Council Team led by a Locum Town Clerk who is supported by a Committee Clerk. The Council Team is organised into a team of Officers based at Melksham Town Hall, an Amenities Team and an Assembly Hall Team. Melksham Town Council is based in the Town Hall which is conveniently located in the Market Place in the centre of Melksham. The Town Hall is used for council meetings and can also be hired out for public meetings and events.
