Mismatch Theatre

Mismatch Theatre was set up in 2017 by a group of Bristol drama graduates. Our time is dedicated to creating original work with our workshop devising style, focusing heavily on play, improvisation and physical theatre. We strive to act as a force of optimism for the future of the arts. In a world that is becoming increasingly grey and divided, we want people to dust off their paintbrushes, put on their dancing shoes, and find the things that bring us together! We want to create fun and engaging theatre that encourages people to delve into their own experiences, causing the tears to fall, the cheeks to ache and to feel inspired and ready to take on the world. Theatre is a fantastic thing and we want everyone to have a chance to enjoy it. We have won Best Moment of Theatre, Audience Choice and Adjudicator’s Choice at the Bristol One Act Festival in 2019 and at the same festival we won 1st place, Best Moment of Theatre, Best Direction (ensemble), Audience Choice and Best Original Play in 2020.
