Mobility Information Engineering Lab

MIE Lab - Under the guidance of Prof. Martin Raubal, our lab focuses on developing innovative computational methods to analyze, simulate, and predict individual mobility, with the goal of making mobility sustainable. For this, we combine competencies and methods from diverse fields such as Geographic Information Science (GISc), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Mining, Transportation Modeling, Spatial Cognition, and Learning Analytics. Our research interests span from trajectory data analysis, location-based services (LBS), integration of mobility and energy, agent-based modeling and simulation, to spatiotemporal machine learning.
