Morecambe Town Council

Morecambe Town Council is a town/parish council representing the coastal town of Morecambe, Lancashire. 26 unpaid, elected members represent a population of over people across 11 wards, working with a small team of officers to deliver discretionary services for local people. It prides itself on transparent and considered decision-making, designed to deliver the best outcomes for the community it represents. Current services include providing grants to local community groups, festival, and event producers; creating its own events programme; and delivering a variety of public realm improvements via its team of Town Rangers, enhancing the public realm work of Lancaster City Council and Lancashire County Council. Morecambe Town Council is a statutory consultee for all planning applications within the Morecambe Town Council boundary, and also owns the West End and Heysham North allotment site, which is currently managed by an independent allotment association.
