M.R.S. Italia combines experience and innovation to shape concrete solutions. From design to production, we manage the manufacturing of screws, barrels, complete plasticizing units, and other components connected to the plasticizing process. Plasticizing Screws: production, design, and customization. We manufacture plasticizing screws based on customer drawings and/or developed through our design expertise, using a wide range of geometries and metallurgical solutions. Barrels: we produce plasticizing barrels in different metallurgical configurations, with nitrided steels or bimetallic technology, ensuring long-term wear resistance. Our extensive metallurgical know-how is at the service of the customer to provide the most suitable solutions for each production process. Complete Plasticizing Units: end-to-end design and manufacturing of complete plasticizing units, tailored to the customer’s needs and requirements, for extrusion and injection processes. Other Components: thanks to its highly specialized in-house workshop, M.R.S. Italia is able to manufacture all the mechanical components of a plasticizing unit, including: feeding sections, sleeves, hopper bodies, tips, bushings, extrusion head components, and much more.
