Nature Based Education Consortium

We are a growing multi-sector network of organizations focused on building support for and equitable access to outdoor learning opportunities for all Maine youth. We believe that all Maine youth deserve the opportunity to learn outside in ways that connect them to their community and the natural world. We are working to.Create sustainable, statewide funding for outdoor learning for all Maine youth.Communicate the impact of outdoor learning to the development of youth, their communities, and the State of Maine.Generate support for outdoor learning, and for the schools, organizations, and communities that are deeply embedded in this work.
