Nemesis-3d-Cm

The NEMESIS-3D-CM project, in collaboration with the Fundación para la investigación biomédica del Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre, combines technological research in hyperspectral image processing, high-performance computing systems and automatic learning techniques with the experience and daily practice of neurosurgeons. Thus creating synergies between medical practice and engineering, with the aim of developing a HPC medical system, based on heterogeneous multiprocessor architectures, to support the systematic part of real-time diagnosis during surgical interventions of brain tumors by providing neurosurgeons with additional information that allows them to increase the accuracy in making critical decisions during the tumor resection procedure.
