Ning restaurants, cookery school and catering was established in Manchester’s bustling Northern Quarter in 2006, and has since expanded with the increased profile of its co-founder/Executive Chef Norman Musa. Ning York opened in May 2012, our 2nd branch. Ning London began with a regular at-home supper club in March 2013, with plans afoot for street food. Style and simplicity, quality and value, individuality and hospitality – these are the values that stand Ning out from the crowd. Set within simple but chic venues and served by friendly waiting staff, Ning was originally influenced in concept by trendy noodle bars of Asian cities, with the relaxed and sociable ambience of continental European cafés. Our aim is to be authentic and stylish without pretension. We also offer a bespoke catering service. We pride ourselves on serving fresh, authentic and delicious food with a twist of style and individuality. We are no-smoking, welcoming and inclusive venues. Malaysian Chef Norman Musa created and leads Ning. He is an experienced, self-taught and multi-talented chef. Chef Norman is the One to Watch. With ever-increasing awards and accolades, TV shows, food festivals and books, he is now Europe's leading Malaysian chef and a passionate ambassador for Malaysian cuisine.
