The Nordic Genetic Resource Center (NordGen) is the Nordic countries' genebank and knowledge center for genetic resources. Our mission is to conserve and promote a sustainable use of genetic resources important for the Nordic agriculture and forestry. NordGen is also operational manager of the Svalbard Global Seed Vault. NordGen is an institute under the Nordic Council of Ministers with offices in Alnarp, Sweden, and Ås, Norway.
