About Karin Tingne

In my previous employments I have been responsible for everything within the finance departments from the day-to-day accounting to the year-end financial statements and annual report, both according to the Swedish accounting principles K2 and K3, but also according to IFRS. I have found that I have a passion for analyzing and prognoses. I have tackled the responsibility for process development, business controlling, follow-up, reconciliations, analysis and reporting. I have also been involved in analyzing and evaluating risks in daily processes and finding ways to streamline the work using ERP systems and thus reduce or eliminate these risks. I have been responsible for salaries in both Swedish and Norwegian companies. The various companies I have been employed with have been mainly international companies, where all communications have been in English. Other experiences that I have been involved in over the years are the merger of subsidiaries, start-up of a ship pool, tonnage taxation and incorporation of new software systems. Today I am financing director at Engelbrektsboden AB, which also includes full financial responsibility for the subsidiaries SeniorShop Europe AB, Sveriges SeniorShop AB and Norges SeniorShop AS. My work includes everything within the finance function, salaries, ongoing accounting, monthly accounts, annual accounts, declarations, budget, forecasting, analyses, board reporting, etc. The SeniorShops companies are a franchise concept, so the work includes a lot of support for all franchisees in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Some of my strengths: • Works well independently. • Am proactive and responsible and make sure that what needs to be done is done, either by myself or delegate if someone else is more suitable. • Takes initiative and solves problems independently. • I enjoy learning new things,and I learn very quickly. • Is outgoing and can easily communicate with new people.
