Nottingham City Council

Nottingham City Council is focused on becoming a renewed council, delivering for local people and leading Nottingham forward. Our vision is to build a flourishing, inclusive and sustainable city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Through our new Council Plan, we are committed to: • A renewed council – strengthening governance, improving transparency, driving innovation and practising strong financial stewardship through a ‘One Council’ approach. • Delivering for local people – empowering safe communities, improving health and wellbeing, providing safe and affordable housing, and enhancing education and skills. • Leading Nottingham forward – revitalising the economy, championing sustainability, improving infrastructure and connectivity, and celebrating our city’s cultural heritage. We work closely with partners, businesses, and communities to make Nottingham safer, greener and more prosperous, ensuring that opportunity and prosperity are accessible to all.
