Objects & Sounds is an online mood-based record store that goes away with the classic convention of music classification. Looking less at trends, genres and release dates and more simply towards how we'd like to be feeling. When we listen to music at home, the first question we ask ourselves is “what mood are you into right now?” Some days, we like taking it easy. Other days, we're ready for action. This inspired our idea to categorize the music we love into 8 moods- Taking it easy - Calm & collected - Lost in dreams - A sense of melancholy - Floating on clouds - Having a blast - Ready for action - Emotional rollercoaster Featuring records from different continents and different time periods, our selection for objects & sounds is a reflection of our ever-changing mood and the music we catch ourselves listening to.
