Oenophily [ee-nof–uh-lee] is a blog for people who like wine. My enduring affair with wine occurs because it not only satisfies my taste buds but also captivates my mind. To a wine lover, that liquid in the glass is more than just a beverage. It’s history, grapes, and craftsmanship. It’s soil, climate, chemistry, and maybe even a little magic. Every glass of wine has a story to tell. One of the best parts of my new career is sharing these stories. At wine tastings, I get to share them with a few people at a time. Here I have the opportunity to share them with many more.
